Nairobi: Goon Who Was Allegedly Terrorising Protesters Made to Swim Sewage Water, Clip Amuses Many

A man had a very long day in town after it was claimed that he was one of the goons who gave protesters a hard time in the CBD

The remaining protesters watched as the young man was forced to swim in sewage water and were asking him to chant a phrase. They kept asking him to swim in the water, kneel, and stand in it, and at some point one of the protesters asked his colleagues to let him go

A young man who was allegedly part of a group of thugs sent to terrorize protesters at the Justice For Ojwang demonstrations has been forced to swim in sewage-smelling water in Nairobi, Kenya.

On June 17, the Central Business District of Nairobi was a mess because a lot of people had come out in force to protest Albert Ojwang's unfair death at the Central Police Station. Eliud Lagat, a Deputy Inspector General (DIG), was the one who complained that Ojwang was tarnishing his name. Since then, he has stepped aside so that investigations can take place. Kenyans are still dissatisfied, despite the most recent change. Kenyans want DIG, Central Police Station (OCS) Samson Talaam, and his police constable, James Mukhwana, to go to jail with him. They took to the streets, insisting that they would only accept the resignation of the man.

Goons arrived on foot and motorbikes as the protests began to take off, disrupting the otherwise peaceful demonstrations. A running battle between goons and genuine protesters started, with many people getting hurt along the way.

Because it revealed the genuine protesters as well as the police being cornered and harassed by thugs, things changed for everyone involved. In some instances, they were robbed blind.

In contrast, there were rough criminals who deviated from the other sand and ended up in soup. They were taken and bundled in police vehicles for further action.

An Instagram video shared by @gossipbuzzroom Kenya showed a man who was not very lucky.  He was instructed to swim, walk, and eventually kneel in the sewage water. To prevent the man from fleeing, the people who were watching him like hawks yelled, "Say one term." jeff_mwaniki_mugereki:

"Hata mungemuuliza nani anawatuma...we know but we need a confirmation."

Another story describes the tragic robbery of Nairobi CBD businesses on Tuesday, June 17, when mobsters allegedly entered protests and stole valuable goods. Goons were caught breaking into an electronics store and stealing a lot of goods in a viral CCTV video. Outside, demonstrations erupted. The goons did not stop robbing the stores despite gunshots in the background; no one stopped the crimes they were committing.  Many tried to draw the attention of the police towards the mayhem, but sadly, there was no response.
